A handful of our titles are physically autographed by their authors before we pack them. It's the one thing a marketplace can't sell you — and it's only possible because the writer, the press and this shop are all one operation.
A real autograph
Each copy is physically signed by the author before dispatch — not a printed signature, not a facsimile. The genuine article.
Limited by nature
Stock is only ever as large as the batch the author actually signed. When a signed run is gone, we can't always reprint it with signatures.

Because we publish these books ourselves, the signed editions live on Paperfox and nowhere else — no reseller can offer them.

A signed book isn't a different book. It's the same story, kept a little differently.
Most of the writers on these shelves are independent and Indian — many with a debut to their name. When one of them sits down to sign a stack of their own first book, that autograph is a small, real connection between the person who wrote it and the person who'll read it.
We can offer it for a simple reason: we're the publisher. The book was edited, designed and printed by Author's Ink, and it's sold here at Paperfox — so getting the author to sign a batch before it ships is just part of the process, not a special arrangement with a middleman.
That's also why signed stock runs out and doesn't always come back. It's tied to a specific print run and a specific afternoon of signing. If a title you want is still showing as signed, it's still here.
Signed-copy questions
Is it really signed by the author?
Yes — a genuine, hand-applied autograph, added to the copy before we pack it. It isn't printed or reproduced.
Does the signature cost extra?
No. You pay the price listed on the product — there's no separate surcharge for the autograph.
Can I get it personalised or dedicated to someone?
The copies are signed in advance, so a personal dedication (a name, a message) isn't guaranteed. If you'd like to ask whether it's possible for a particular title, message us on WhatsApp or email contact@paperfox.in before you order and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
What happens when a signed title sells out?
Signed stock is limited to the batch the author signed, so once it's gone we can't always bring it back with signatures. The unsigned edition of the same book may still be available in the main shop.
How are signed copies delivered?
Exactly like any other order: dispatched within 3 working days, most arrive in 7–8 working days, free delivery on orders from ₹499, and cash on delivery from ₹299. Arrived damaged? Send a photo to contact@paperfox.in and we'll replace it.
