“Summers gone without you” is a collection of 100 poems, quotes, and aphorisms written in the summers of 2020. This fast pacing world does not allow you to pay attention to your thoughts and let them come out of your heart in form of words. Poetry reading is long-forgotten leisure these days. But you must remember, “Everyone becomes a poet in love and lover in poems”. Reading or writing a poem before you retire to sleep will let your heart feel young and light. Keep a pen and diary near your bed and write anything before you sleep. It can be anything, a poem, a quote, an aphorism, etc. Unleash the little writer inside your heart and write for the dreamer, lover, and pure soul inside you. This book is an outcome of such a practice. I hope it justifies the emotions in words and lastly, forgive me for using simple words.
